VolcFlow

VolcFlow has been developped for the simulation of volcanic flows at the Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans, Clermont-Ferrand.

-Determining the rheological behaviour of dense pyroclastic flows and debris avalanches,
-Visualizing deformations of the surface of debris avalanche and interpret or compare with field structures,
-Volcanic hazard mapping,
-Simulation of tsunami generated by volcanic flows,
-Reproducing the emplacement of fluidized flows in laboratory,
-Simulation of lava flows,
-Simulation of dense and dilute pyroclastic flows.
